I recently bought an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-45 back in 2021. It was working great, but lately, it struggles to handle newer games. I’m considering upgrading the graphics card, but I’m aware that laptop graphics are tricky. Also, I’m curious if increasing the RAM would help with performance. My current specs are: NVIDIA RTX 3060 6 GB, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics, and 16 GB of RAM.

Unfortunately, you’re pretty much stuck with your current graphics setup. Laptop GPUs are usually fixed, so you can’t upgrade from the 3060. You might be able to bump your RAM up to 32 GB, which could help a little with multitasking and some games. By the way, what games are you trying to play? I have a similar setup and I’m running FFVII Rebirth at 1440p with medium settings pretty smoothly.
I’m trying to run Helldivers 2, but it gets pretty laggy if I try to push any higher than potato settings.
