I just bought GTA 5 on Steam, and it came with the Enhanced version by default. However, I’ve heard that mods don’t work with this version, especially tools like OpenIV. Is there a way to get the standard version of GTA 5 on Steam so I can use my mods?

The loss of mod capability with the Enhanced version isn’t too big of a deal. You should be able to install the legacy version too when you purchase GTA 5. Just download that one, and you’ll be able to use all your mods with it!
I haven’t tried the legacy version myself yet, but given that OpenIV doesn’t work with the Enhanced version, I imagine it might have issues with legacy as well. It’s worth checking out though!
