I’m building my first PC and planning to use a 2560 x 1080 monitor. Will a Ryzen 5600X paired with an RTX 2080 Super deliver good frame rates at high settings while using ray tracing?

You should get decent frame rates, but what counts as ‘good’ can vary. You might need to lower either the ray tracing or graphics settings to maintain smoother gameplay since the first-gen ray tracing hardware can struggle with newer titles.
Definitely! The Ryzen 5600X is solid for any resolution, but it mainly impacts how high your frame rates can go. For the RTX 2080 Super, it’s almost on par with a 3070, so you should easily hit around 120 FPS in most games without heavy ray tracing. But keep this in mind: in games like Cyberpunk or Alan Wake, you might struggle to maintain those high frame rates with max settings and heavy ray tracing.
