Hey everyone! My friend and I just tried out the gambit deck in our latest game, and I noticed that the mission rules mention we won’t score primary victory points from holding objectives. However, it doesn’t specify anything about secondary objectives. So, can I still score secondary victory points? Also, if I’m on an objective, do I still count as controlling it for the purpose of scoring secondaries, even if I’m not getting primary points from it?

Honestly, I think gambits aren’t worth it in the long run. Those secret missions that took their place are way more effective! But hey, if it worked out for you this time, that’s great!
Gambits might not be everyone’s favorite, but you can still score secondary points! Just make sure you’re playing the right pack; the Leviathan Mission Pack allows for gambits, that’s still an option if you’re keen.
Yes, you can still score points from secondary objectives even while using the gambit deck. It would be pretty hard to win otherwise! Also, you still count as holding objectives when determining control for secondaries, which helps with a lot of unit and army rules.
