Hey everyone! I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to save Sazza and still recruit Minthara without violating my Oath of the Crown as a Paladin. I’ve been considering a few strategies:
1. Telling Sazza to head back to camp instead of bringing her to the Goblin camp — I know I might miss out on a quest reward, but that’s cool.
2. Refusing to help Minthara attack the Grove and opting for non-lethal means to knock her (and Sazza, if she gets hostile) out.
3. Having a different party member make a promise to Minthara, then betraying her during the assault — not sure if that still breaks my oath.
4. Starting with the Oath of Vengeance, betraying Minthara, and then respeccing into the Oath of the Crown later on.
What do you guys think? Any advice on how to keep both characters alive without going against my Paladin vows?

If you really want to stay true to your oath, siding with Minthara is risky because attacking the Grove could still break it. You might want to think of another plan.
You could just pay the gold to save Sazza, no need to worry about the oath there!
Haha, that’s definitely a simpler solution! I’ll keep that in mind.
I found a way to do it without breaking oaths! Free Sazza from the Grove and let her wait at checkpoints towards the camp. Then you can teleport into the Goblin camp, clear it out, knock out Minthara, and when you return to Sazza, everything should work out fine. Just make sure to do it right!
Sounds like a solid plan! I’ll definitely try this out. Thanks for the tips!
Yeah, I think siding with her breaks the oath for sure, which isn’t what I want.
