I’m thinking about getting the new MacBook Air M4, but I’m a bit confused about whether I should go for the 10-core or stick with the 8-core GPU. Has anyone played League of Legends on an 8-core version of the Air? I’ve done a lot of searching for answers but haven’t found much, so any advice would really help me save some cash! By the way, feel free to troll if you’re not a Mac user! It’s surprising to me that the MacBook Air M4 is almost half the price of the latest Intel CPU laptops or even AMD models.

I played League on my 2015 MacBook Pro, and I think you’ll be fine with either GPU option. The game’s not graphically intensive—it’s from 2009!
I have a MacBook Air M3, and League runs perfectly fine. I can even run Chrome and Spotify at the same time without issues. You don’t need a 10-core for League; the 8-core will do just fine!
Awesome, saving that $100 makes a big difference!
I have a 2016 MacBook Pro and I get well over 80fps. You should be more than okay with anything newer than that!
Great, thanks! That’s a relief.
I’m currently playing League on my M1 Pro at 120fps with medium settings. League is built to run on a variety of PCs, so you shouldn’t have any issues with a newer Mac.
Thanks! But what about Vanguard, the new anti-cheat? I’ve heard it’s a hassle on Windows.
