I’m really eager to play Infamous Second Son on my Steam Deck, but I’m not seeing any gameplay videos or confirmations. Has anyone had any luck running this or other PS4 games on the device?

Even PS3 titles are a challenge to run on the Deck, so honestly, PS4 emulation is still a bit of a distant dream. Maybe things will get better with future hardware upgrades.
If you’re feeling adventurous, you might be able to get some games working through remote play from a PS4 or PS5. That’s probably your best bet at the moment, as emulation isn’t really working well for many titles right now.
The compatibility page suggests that it boots, but that’s about it. Most PS4 games still can’t be played properly right now. I suggest keeping an eye on updates; maybe things will improve in the future!
Honestly, you might run into a lot of issues with PS4 emulation on the Steam Deck right now. It’s still pretty early days for that, and many games just aren’t playable yet. Have you thought about trying PS Now if it’s still available? That might be an easier route for playing PS4 games.
Thanks for the tip! I might give that a shot instead.
I appreciate it! I’ll definitely be patient and wait for better optimization.
