Hey everyone! I recently got my hands on an Xbox One to relive some childhood memories with its backwards compatibility feature. I’m curious if I can play Halo Infinite on it, or if I need to upgrade to a Series X or a digital copy. The thing is, I don’t really want to spend money on a Series X just for one game, especially since I already own a PS5. The only exclusives I’m interested in are Forza Horizon and Halo, and I’ve heard Forza Horizon 5 is coming to PlayStation as well. Apologies if this seems like a silly question, but I really want to make sure I can play the campaign before shelling out cash for it!

Halo Infinite does run on the Xbox One, but keep in mind that if you’re playing heavy custom maps, it might lag a bit, especially on a standard Xbox One. I’ve seen some choppy gameplay at LAN parties. But the campaign should run smoothly!
Yes, you can definitely play Halo Infinite on the Xbox One! It released for both the Xbox One and Series X/S, so you’re all set. Just keep in mind that newer games are mostly focused on the Series X now, but since Halo Infinite has been out for a while, the Xbox One should support it just fine.
Thanks for confirming! I was worried it might not work.
Just install the free multiplayer and give it a try! It worked for me when it launched. But be aware, you’ll need Xbox Live Gold to access online features.
Yeah, I don’t want to pay for two online services if Halo’s the only game I’d play on my Xbox One.
Sounds good! I’ll just stick to the campaign.
