Can I Play Black Ops 1 Zombies with Friends on Different Xbox Generations?

I’m trying to team up with some friends to play Black Ops 1 Zombies. I’ve got an Xbox Series X, along with an Xbox One and an Xbox 360, all set up with Xbox Live. One of my friends only has an Xbox 360 but plans to get Xbox Live soon. Can we join up for a private match together?

That’s awesome! I was worried I’d need to hook up the old 360 again. Just to clarify for everyone, as long as we all have the physical copy of the game, we should be good to go! Thanks for confirming this, really helps with planning our game night!

Absolutely! You can play together without any issues. The backwards compatible games run in a 360 environment on the Series X, making it feel just like you’re on a 360. Just remember to use the Start and Select buttons to access the 360 menu instead of the Xbox button. Also, ensure you’ve added your friends while using the 360 interface, and you should be all set for some zombie-slaying fun!
