I’m looking to gift someone a copy of Minecraft, but I really want to do it anonymously. If I purchase it through the official website and enter their email, will they see any of my personal information like my Microsoft or Xbox account name, my email, or any payment details? I’d love to have some clarity on this before I proceed, so thanks for any insights!

If anonymity is your goal, maybe try getting a physical disc and having it shipped to them. That wouldn’t disclose any of your online info at all! Just a thought.
You could consider buying a Minecraft gift card and sending them the code directly. That way, you avoid having your personal info tied to the gift. Just keep in mind that doing it over Discord or similar might still give away that it was you who sent it, even if it’s not directly linked by your account name.
I don’t think there’s a way to do this completely anonymously. When I’ve gifted copies in the past, I’ve used codes and avoided sharing personal cheques. You want to make sure the recipient doesn’t see any of your info, but if it’s a code, it might work for you! Just be sure they aren’t finding out that you gifted it.
