I recently bought a content pass on Steam, but I’m now realizing that what I really want is the ultimate upgrade since I only have around half of the chapters. I’ve asked for a refund and explained my situation, but I’m curious about how likely it is that I’ll get it. It’s really disappointing that Steam doesn’t offer an upgrade option for the difference.

I think you should definitely be able to get a refund. I’ve had a similar experience with a couple of purchases on Steam where I accidentally bought the wrong version, and they processed my refunds without any issues. Just keep your fingers crossed!
