If I subscribe to PlayStation Plus, will it allow me to access games that I’m technically too young to play, and let me request permission from a parent? Or does it just block access entirely? I want to get PlayStation Plus mainly for multiplayer on my current account and to check out games my parents are okay with. I really don’t want to purchase two subscriptions—one for games I’ve invested a lot of time in for multiplayer, and another for accessing restricted content on a different account. Any advice?

You can’t directly access games rated above your age limit directly through your account. They need to be claimed from an adult account with parental consents set up. So, your parents would need to subscribe to PlayStation Plus, download the games, and then manage permissions for you to play them on your account.
The law won’t literally hunt you down for curious gaming moves like this, but yeah, restrictions are in place to block certain content from younger players. It’s more about parental control.
Nope, trying to access those mature games when you’re underage isn’t just possible through your account alone—it’s locked. Better to coordinate with your parents to work out access if they’re cool with it.
It sounds like, the way you’ve described it, you won’t be able to access mature-rated games. You’d need to get stuff like that through your parent’s account, but be aware, they’d have to handle permissions for you each time.
