I’m in a tough spot—my Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 was stolen off my porch right after it was delivered by Amazon, and it was in view of the whole street! I’m wondering, if the thief plugs it in, would they be able to track it down? Or am I pretty much out of luck? Amazon is being difficult about helping me get a replacement. This isn’t the first time I’ve had items stolen, but this is definitely the most expensive one.

Do you have any security cameras set up? They might have caught something that could help identify the thief!
I get that it’s super frustrating, but realistically, Amazon isn’t at fault here for the theft after delivery. It sucks that you had to experience this, but the responsibility lies with the thief, not the store. Just a tough situation to be in.
Nope, monitors don’t have any tracking capabilities whatsoever. They don’t report back to the manufacturer or anything; they just run on electricity. You won’t be able to retrieve it that way.
Unfortunately, once it’s stolen, it’s unlikely that it can be tracked down. Monitors just don’t have GPS or any built-in tracking capabilities like some devices do. If Amazon isn’t helping with a replacement, you might want to consider disputing the charge with your bank. It’s a hassle, but sometimes that can yield results.
Yeah, I do! The guy even took off his shirt and wore it like a bandana. What a character!
