I’m running out of Ethernet ports in my house and considering running my Minecraft server on my PC which connects via WiFi. The internet speed here is pretty decent, so I’m wondering if it would be okay to run the server over WiFi instead of Ethernet?

Honestly, the best approach is to just give it a shot and see how it performs. Most WiFi setups can handle it fine if your internet is solid. But test it to make sure things run smoothly, especially if you’re planning on having lots of players at once.
Yeah, you can definitely run a Minecraft server over WiFi if your internet connection is fast and stable. Just be prepared for potentially higher latency compared to an Ethernet connection, which might affect players connecting to your server. If most players are local, you might not notice much of a difference, though.
