I’m considering using the Back Alley Gourmand and Orders Wrath sets on my healer sorcerer, especially with the Oakensoul ring. I’m curious if the bonus crit heals from these sets would be effective in tougher content while still keeping my team alive. I understand that a two-bar setup is generally better, but I’m just exploring this idea. What do you think?

You might want to rethink that setup a bit. While crit healing is valid, you’ll probably be more of a buff provider rather than a primary healer in harder content. If your DPS is underperforming, a solid healer can help, but it’s crucial to ensure everyone’s builds are on point too.
It’s definitely possible to build a crit healer sorc! There’s a skill that triggers additional heals when your healing skills crit, which can be useful. Just keep in mind that for more challenging content, your role often leans towards buffing the team rather than just healing. In many cases, healers who focus too much on personal damage reduce the overall group’s effectiveness, especially in veteran content.
That makes sense! I just feel like I can manage two roles at once. My main tank’s got solid DPS and defenses, and I usually help out the team in both roles.
