Hey everyone, I’m planning a big move across the country, about 2000 miles, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to get my gaming setup to my new place. Should I consider shipping it, or is it smarter to take it with me on a flight?
I’ve thought about disassembling my setup, leaving the case behind and just buying a new one once I get there, but I want to make sure to carry the sensitive parts like the GPU, CPU, and RAM with me to avoid any damage. Plus, I’m a bit stumped on what to do with my two monitors, a 34-inch OLED and a 27-inch IPS—these are pricey and fragile!
Has anyone moved a long distance like this? Any tips or suggestions would be super helpful!

Definitely take out the GPU and CPU! Those are the priciest parts, and they’re vulnerable during transport. It’s better to keep them safe.
