Hey everyone! I’m a graphic designer who relies heavily on the Adobe Suite (like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for my daily work. Lately, I’ve been diving into 3D product rendering with Blender and also enjoy playing AAA games at 1080p. Here’s my current setup:
– **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 1600
– **Motherboard:** Asus Prime B450M-K
– **RAM:** 32GB DDR4 3200MHz
– **GPU:** Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti
– **PSU:** Seasonic 620W 80+ Bronze
While my system works, it’s starting to lag with rendering and newer games. I’m looking to upgrade my CPU, motherboard, and GPU, but I want to keep my RAM and PSU. My goals are to:
– Run Adobe smoothly while multitasking
– Use GPU for rendering in Blender (with CUDA support)
– Play the latest AAA titles at 1080p high settings at 60 FPS
– Make the upgrade budget-friendly yet future-proof
Any thoughts on what components I should consider or part lists would be super appreciated! Thanks!

If you’re not changing your RAM, it might not make sense to upgrade your motherboard either. I’d recommend looking at something like the Ryzen 5800X along with an RTX 4070 12GB, if it’s within your budget. It’s a lot more capable than the 1070 Ti and will give you a solid performance boost! Also, consider the 5060 Ti with 16GB VRAM for future-proofing your workloads and gaming needs.
Totally agree! If you’re sticking with your RAM, just updating the BIOS might be enough. You could go for either a Ryzen 5600X or 5800X and pair it with the best GPU you can find. That’ll cover both your gaming and design tasks without breaking the bank.
For gaming and 3D work, you might want to lean towards an Intel i5 12400F with either 16 or 32GB of DDR4 or DDR5 RAM, depending on your future plans. Also, look into getting a 4060 or 4060 Ti GPU – you could wait for the 5060 series, too, for better performance at 1080p!
Definitely don’t take that advice straight up – it could overspend your budget with unnecessary parts! Stick with Ryzen and/or the recommended GPUs for best balance.
