I’m on a 10-day holiday and just finished playing Titanfall 2. I’ve got a brand new PC and I’m looking to dive into some high-end action games. I’m open to any recommendations as long as they’re fun and engaging, but I’m specifically after something that’s relatively short and linear.

You should definitely check out “Prince of Persia: Sands of Time” or any of the “Assassin’s Creed” games. They both offer great action and are pretty linear, so you can finish them off in your holiday time!
The Metro series is fantastic if you like a combination of action and narrative. It’s immersive and has a decent length to keep you occupied without dragging on too long!
“Hotline Miami” is a great choice for a short playthrough. I managed to finish it in about three hours while chatting with my partner, so it can definitely fit within your 10-day window! If you can adapt to the gameplay style, you’ll have a blast!
Don’t miss out on “Hi-Fi Rush” or “Devil May Cry 5”! Both are fun, engaging, and perfect for some action-packed gaming sessions. You’ll definitely enjoy them!
I highly recommend “A Plague Tale: Innocence” & “Requiem”. They provide outstanding linear gameplay with a gripping story. Innocence runs about 12 hours while Requiem is around 20 hours, so they fit the bill for what you’re looking for! If you’re up for something a bit longer, “The Last of Us” series or “God of War” are also phenomenal!
If you’re looking for something unique, definitely give “Ghostrunner” a shot. It’s fast-paced action and feels great on a high-end PC. You won’t be disappointed!
