I’m looking to enhance my laptop’s performance with a RAM upgrade. Here are my current specs: I’m using an Intel Core i5-13420H processor, an RTX 2050 GPU, and 8GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM. My laptop can support up to 32GB of RAM with its dual slots. I need help choosing a good RAM option for gaming. Any recommendations?

The main factor you need to look at is the correct SODIMM form factor and frequency for your RAM. Beyond that, it’s personal preference. Some people like the look or brand, but performance wise, they’re usually quite close. Just make sure you’re not buying desktop RAM by accident, as that won’t fit. For gaming, any of the main brands would be fine.
If gaming is your main thing, just aim for 32GB of DDR4 SODIMM RAM. Make sure it’s SODIMM because that’s the laptop size, and double-check the frequency matches (3200 MHz in your case). Performance difference between brands like Crucial, G.Skill, and Kingston is usually minor if the specs are the same. Just pick one that’s within your budget and has good reviews.
