Hey everyone! I’m looking to upgrade my really old CPU because I’m only getting around 30 FPS in Dornogal on the lowest settings. I’m thinking about getting an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D along with a GeForce RTX 5080. From what I see, this setup should run WoW at very high settings and ideally give me solid 100 FPS at 1440p. Do you think upgrading to a 5090 instead would offer any noticeable performance boost, or should I just save my money? For what it’s worth, I also have an M3 Max Macbook that runs WoW smoothly.

Honestly, I don’t think the 5090 will give you much of a difference with that setup. The 9800X3D is going to make a huge impact on your performance! I’d say just stick with the 5080.
