Hey everyone! I’m based in the US and I’ve finally saved up enough cash to buy a decent gaming laptop. I’ve been stuck in a Mac-only family and I’m eager to join my friends for some gaming action. However, I’m completely new to this whole scene.
I was looking at the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i but I’ve come across some reviews mentioning issues with its durability, especially with the plastic cracking. Since I have a dog with a wildly swishing tail, I’m concerned it might take a beating! I’m also ready to invest in protective cases, but I’m worried about heat issues.
I’m not a hardcore gamer – I enjoy games like Red Dead 2 and I also do quite a bit of digital art and editing. Any recommendations or thoughts would be super helpful!

I would highly recommend the Asus Rog Zephyrus G16. It’s got an amazing display and comes with powerful hardware that’s great for both gaming and editing. There’s also a YouTube review available if you want to check it out before deciding!
Check out the HP Victus 15! It’s going for around $1250 and has solid specs for gaming and creative work. Just make sure to also invest some cash into a good case to keep it safe!
Is MSI still a solid choice these days?
