Best Games for Recovery Time with a Steam Deck

-

I recently had a vasectomy and I’m mostly stuck in bed with my Steam Deck and some frozen peas to help with the recovery. I’m not sure what to play since I don’t have a huge Steam library, so I’m looking for a variety of game suggestions. If they’re on sale, that would be a big plus! Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

If you’re into platformers, check out Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown; it’s half off right now! You might enjoy Poppy Playtime or Age of Empires Definitive Edition as well. They’re classics and run fine on the Deck!

Played Age of Empires back in the day – tbh haven’t heard of the others but will check them out!

If you’re up for losing track of time, definitely try out Brotato; it’s addictive! For some great story and combat, go with Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition. It’s really fun on the Deck. Dead Cells and Hollow Knight are also fantastic if you enjoy roguelites and Metroidvanias! Don’t miss out on Mad Max; it runs smoothly and has awesome melee combat. Plus, Skyrim is a classic that works really well, too! Good luck with your recovery!

Wooo I’ve been eyeing Brotato for a while thanks! Picking up Skyrim for a 4th time is also tempting…
