I’m curious to hear everyone’s favorite game launchers! I used to enjoy Playnite on Windows, but since switching to Ubuntu, I’m a bit lost on what to use now. Should I consider using something like a Steam auto importer for my games, or maybe tools like Lutris or GameHub? What has worked best for you?

I’ve found using Steam along with Heroic works best for me. You may hit some glitches with family share games when using a mix of launchers, but it’s a pretty solid combo overall!
I’ve been using Lutris and it’s great for my entire game library. It supports games from Steam, GOG, Blizzard, and even emulation. If you’re looking for something all-in-one, it could be the way to go!
Lutris is my go-to for everything! It’s not perfect, but it lets me combine all my launchers under one roof. That said, keep Steam for its stability with certain titles, especially those you can’t play anywhere else.
Heroic is a solid option, especially if you’re playing Epic Games titles. I primarily use it for that, but yeah, it doesn’t sync with other games like Steam or Flatpak. It tracks playtime though!
I mostly stick to Steam for my games. There’s an automatic import feature that lets you add non-Steam games into your library, which could be helpful if you own games from other sources. But if you want to integrate more, you may still end up using Heroic and Lutris alongside it.
