Best CPU Upgrade Options for My Setup

I’m currently using a 13600KF and I’m considering an upgrade. However, I have a couple of challenges: My air cooler can only handle CPUs up to 190W at max, and I’m looking for something with more cores. My budget is around £400. Any suggestions?

Honestly, unless you’re planning to get an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D or something really powerful, sticking with your current CPU might be the best move. It’s pretty new and has good performance for most games. Upgrading to a top-tier CPU like that could feel like overkill unless your current performance is really holding you back.

Before jumping into an upgrade, what are you aiming to fix? If it’s just stutters in games, it might not be totally about the CPU. But if you still want to upgrade, going for something like the Ryzen 9 7900X could give you more cores and should fit within your budget if you find a good deal.
