I’ve just started playing Oblivion Remastered on GamePass and I’m having a blast! However, I’ve run into a couple of issues that could use some quality of life improvements. First, is there any chance we might see a ‘Cleared’ icon or message for caves, ruins, and other unmarked locations? It can be tough keeping track of where I’ve been with all the winding paths, and I really don’t want to miss out on loot or cool encounters. Second, will we ever have the option to summon our horse? It’s kind of a hassle having to leave my horse outside the major towns and then backtrack just to ride him again. What do you all think?

I wouldn’t hold my breath for features like these. It’s a remaster, not a brand new game, and with the Franken-engine setup they’re using, official mod support seems like a long shot too.
Given that neither feature was part of the original game, it’s pretty doubtful they’ll add them in the remaster. It’s pretty common for remasters to leave gameplay mechanics unchanged.
Honestly, just being able to change my character’s appearance would already be a solid update for me!
A ‘cleared’ indicator seems unlikely because most dungeons respawn after three days, which makes it harder to track what’s cleared anyway. Plus, that wasn’t in the original game, so they might stick to the classic formula.
Honestly, I doubt we’ll see either of these features in any future updates. Since it’s a remaster, they probably won’t add new quality of life improvements like that.
Thanks for the info! I didn’t know about the respawn mechanic, that makes sense.
