I’m on the lookout for games where using my keyboard feels like it has a real impact in the game, much like operating a control panel. For example, I love it when I press the ‘H’ key, and that corresponds to an action in the game, like flipping a switch or solving a puzzle. It gives this immersive satisfaction of physically interacting with my setup. One game I found that does this is Helldivers 2, where using the terminals requires pressing actual arrow keys on my keyboard. I really want to find more games like this! Any suggestions?

The Deus Ex games really nail that immersive feel with lots of hacking and interaction through the keyboard. Definitely worth a play!
Have you tried Quadrilateral Cowboy? It’s all about hacking and using your keyboard to interact with the game world, fitting your theme perfectly.
If you’re okay with a challenge, give GTFO a go. It has terminals that operate based on real PC commands, so you’ll be typing commands on your keyboard to progress.
You should definitely check out the Zachtronic series! Their games often involve programming and using literal code to solve puzzles, which really plays into that tactile feel you’re after.
Check out Scribblements Unlimited! You can actually type on a notepad in-game, and it allows you to create items based on what you type. It’s a unique take on the idea!
