Hey everyone! I’ve been thinking about diving into the earlier Resident Evil games, specifically titles 0 through 6. I’m really drawn to the story, the world-building, and I’ve enjoyed the clips and memes featuring Leon. The corporate conspiracy and Raccoon City lore fascinates me! However, I’m aware that these games are quite different from my usual picks. Since I’m not tech-savvy enough to run emulators, my only option seems to be the remasters for games 0-3. Are the changes between the originals and remasters significant? If I love the story, will I still enjoy the remasters? Thanks in advance!

Absolutely worth it! The remasters capture the core of the story and are a blast to play. Don’t stress about the changes; you’re going to enjoy the ride!
The remakes do change the vibe a bit, making everything feel more serious compared to the B-movie style of the originals. But the main story arcs remain intact, so you’ll still get a great experience!
Try out the RE2 Remake demo first to see if you like the gameplay. Overall, the remakes are well-received, and RE2 is a fantastic place to start! You might find the gameplay and atmosphere appealing enough to dive deeper.
Yeah, totally! The demo gives you a good feel for the changes without committing fully. Go for it!
