I’ve recently started doing raids in Fallout 76 and noticed that they drop an overwhelming amount of rewards. After just a couple of stages, I’m carrying more stimpaks, stabilized flux, serums, and legendary mods than I can manage. At level 460, I feel like I’ve fully completed my build and can solo any boss easily, so the extra loot feels a bit pointless. Has anyone else felt like raids give too much loot, or do you think it’s balanced? How do you handle all the rewards without getting overencumbered?

I think raids have been fantastic for the game’s economy. They flood the market with mods, flux, and serums which makes it way easier for new and casual players to catch up and enjoy the game. Fallout 76 isn’t PvP-focused, so having easier access to gear isn’t really a downside. Just embrace the rewards and use them to experiment!
If overencumbrance is your issue, investing in weight reduction perks like Thru-Hiker, Traveling Pharmacy, Batteries Included, and Arms Keeper can really help. Also, don’t hesitate to drop or scrap unwanted items as you go. Since raids drop so much loot at every stage, holding onto duplicates will only weigh you down unnecessarily.
Yeah, and remember you can drop items for other players who might need them more. It’s all about keeping your stash manageable while helping the community.
Keep in mind that not all four-star mods are available elsewhere or craftable, so getting them from raids is actually pretty valuable. The loot you get helps fill gaps in your collection and makes progressing easier for newcomers and veterans alike.
Honestly, the huge rewards from raids are exactly what a lot of players asked for. People wanted more loot, experience, and meaningful rewards, so raids deliver on that front. It’s not surprising that some players feel overencumbered now, but that’s kind of the point — they’re high-end content designed for experienced players. So be careful what you wish for!
Yeah, I get that. Just wasn’t ready for how quickly the rewards come in once you start raids.
Good call on the perks. I probably need to tweak my build to handle the loot better.
