I’m curious about the real benefits of those super long survival missions. When I say long, I mean truly marathon sessions like 6 to 9 hours! I get that you rack up resources, but is it really worth the grind?

Long survival missions can seem pointless for loot since most missions reset after about 4 rounds. People do them more for the thrill or as a way to rack up resource bonuses. If you’re going for max efficiency, you’d be better off just playing until rotation C and then dipping out.
I think it really depends on what you enjoy. Some players find those long missions relaxing, where they can just hang out and farm resources without worrying about constant resets. Sure, there’s nothing super rewarding about them in terms of gameplay, but if it’s fun for you, that counts for something!
In terms of efficiency, nah, it’s not really needed. Most folks can only spare an hour at most! But some players just love going the distance, and that’s cool too. If you want a big resource boost, just remember the loot tends to stack significantly during the rounds.
Honestly, there’s really no huge advantage to going that long unless you’re in a fissure mission. In those, the loot drop rate increases as you survive longer, which can make it worthwhile. But outside of that, it’s mostly just for fun or to challenge yourself.
