I’ve been playing for over 150 hours in this game and have noticed a trend in normal dungeons: it seems like a strong healer often outshines a solid tank. Is this just my perspective, or do others feel the same way?

Honestly, a good DPS can keep themselves alive if the tank is doing their job right. If a DPS is dead, a healer’s work often goes to waste since they won’t need any healing if the fight is over quickly!
For normal dungeons, I’ve found that tanks and healers can sometimes feel optional. You can often clear them with just DPS, but in tougher content, a tank becomes essential. A tank can absorb way more hits than a healer, allowing more breathing room for the group. It really depends on the dungeon and the boss mechanics though!
Totally get that! Sometimes I prefer running with a buddy who plays healer just for easy queue times – it’s more fun!
I’ve been on both sides as a healer and tank. When I’m healing, it often feels like I’m bearing the weight of everyone’s mistakes. If the DPS messes up, it’s often on the healer to pick up the pieces. Great DPS can push through mechanics and make everything smoother for tanks and healers alike. Without solid DPS, there’s a chance the run gets challenging quickly, even for a good tank.
Exactly! If the DPS isn’t strong enough, the tank takes the brunt of the damage, and that’s a rough situation. A good mix makes all the difference!
But we both know that without a tank, everything can go sideways real fast. It’s all about balancing the roles!
