I’m playing a Witchhunter character focused on stealth archery and I’m wondering if using daggers for assassinations is a waste of time. I’m only wearing light clothing right now, and I’m curious if leveling up my blade skill is even worth it in this setup.

Daggers are pretty effective for a Witchhunter since agility boosts both dagger and shortsword damage. If you’re already using agility to your advantage, it makes sense to use daggers or shortswords. Don’t overlook them!
Definitely keep a dagger handy! In stealth, you can get an 8x damage multiplier with daggers compared to a 3x with bows. If you think you can pull off a one-shot kill with it, definitely go for the dagger. Otherwise, stick with the bow for distance.
Both daggers and bows benefit from agility in the remastered versions. I find daggers useful as a backup, especially against enemies with tough hitboxes, like will-o-wisps. They can be really tricky, so having a dagger on standby can save you.

I hear you! Those will-o-wisps are such a pain! A dagger definitely helps in close encounters.
