I’ve come across a Bandai Namco RPG bundle on sale on Steam which includes Tales of Arise, Code Vein, and Scarlet Nexus. I’m curious if these games are actually worth my time and investment. Any thoughts or experiences you can share? Thanks a bunch, and have an awesome day!

Just a heads up, Bandai Namco games often go on steep discounts, so you might want to wait if you’re not in a rush. Tales of Arise was a bit disappointing for me as a long-time fan, but I did enjoy the graphics. I snagged Scarlet Nexus on sale and it was worth it for the price! I can’t speak on Code Vein since it’s not my style, but there are mixed feelings about its performance.
I had a great time with Tales of Arise up until the story started lacking. It has stunning environments; some of the cities are gorgeous! As for Scarlet Nexus, I found the gameplay thrilling, even if the story didn’t completely hook me in.
Totally loved Code Vein and enjoyed Scarlet Nexus too. They feel more action-oriented with RPG elements, but they’re super fun nonetheless!
I’ve played Code Vein and Scarlet Nexus, and I’d say both are worth it! Code Vein was my first taste of a Souls-like game; it was fun without being too punishing. The DLC might be a bit of a letdown, but the boss fights were worth it. Scarlet Nexus is an absolute gem with flashy combat and a nice story. You might need to play through twice to get the whole story, which could be a hit or miss depending on your preference!
Thanks for the insight! I appreciate knowing about the DLCs, but it’s good to hear the core games are solid.
Tales of Arise has been a best seller! It’s got an amazing graphical upgrade and is loved by newcomers, but some long-time fans feel disappointed with the latter half of the story. I think overall, it’s a solid choice.
For Code Vein, I haven’t played it myself, but it’s described as a JRPG with Souls-like combat, which sounds interesting!
Scarlet Nexus is visually stunning! It features cool telekinetic abilities and has great action. While the combat’s fun and the main story is decent, some side content could be better.
Good to know about the discounts! I’ll keep an eye out, thanks!
