Hey everyone, I’m curious if any of you are playing Total War: Warhammer on an APU. Currently, I’m using an Acer Nitro 11400H with an RTX 3050 4GB. I’m thinking of switching to a desktop setup, but my budget is pretty tight. Most of my gaming revolves around World of Warcraft, but I don’t really see many discussions about playing without a discrete GPU. Any advice would be appreciated! I just want to avoid those low 17 to 24 fps during boss raids or relying too much on lossless scaling, which can be a bit janky. To keep the game sharp, I locked my fps at 36 to use lossless scaling to get it to 72, but I’m worried about stuttering during intense moments.

I’ve noticed that whenever someone asks about APU performance in WoW, folks tend to downvote without providing answers. It’s frustrating! But I guess many just jump straight to recommending high-end CPUs like the X3D, ignoring that not everyone can afford that kind of setup.
Right? Plus, the X3D chips only shine in certain scenarios. It’s like they forget there are gamers who need more budget-friendly options for titles like WoW.
Exactly! It feels like the community automatically assumes you have the budget for an X3D. Honestly, I’ve seen plenty of advice that just focuses on super high specs for running games at 1080p and above. It’s not always necessary for everyone.
