I’m having a tough time trying to play Genshin Impact on my Linux setup. I’ve used “An Anime Game Launcher,” Heroic with Epic Games, and even tried Lutris, but nothing seems to work. When I download Genshin through Lutris and install it, the application just stops with exit code 0 after a few seconds. It actually managed to launch successfully just once, but I can’t seem to replicate that. Can someone help me figure out what I’m missing?

Check out this GitHub link I found: https://github.com/moraroy/NonSteamLaunchers-On-Steam-Deck. It might help you get started!
Honestly, just a heads up, this game can really take over your life. You might find yourself lost in it for hours without realizing!
Haha, you’ll be lucky if it only steals your time!

Another way is to add the launcher to Steam and then install Genshin from there. Just make sure to replace the target path in Steam with the executable of Genshin.
You can also just stick with using Heroic for launching it; it’s pretty straightforward!
You should check out the HoYoPlay launcher—there’s a YouTube guide that walks you through the process. Make sure you’re using Proton Experimental or the latest Proton 10 beta for better compatibility!
Dude, it finally worked! Thanks a ton! I spent almost 4 days looking for a solution.
Thanks, I’ll give it a shot right now!
I already dove in! I made my Genshin account back in 2021.
