I’ve been going through my Steam library and realized I have a bunch of games installed that I’m genuinely interested in but haven’t played at all, even though they’ve been on my computer for years. For instance, I have RDR2, Ark, and Outer Worlds just sitting there. It makes me wonder, does anyone else face this same dilemma?

Yeah, RDR2 alone takes up over a hundred gigabytes! It’s hard to justify playing it when it’s such a huge commitment. But I definitely have a few games I’ve been meaning to try but always end up focusing on something else instead. Just the other day, I rediscovered Tales of Arise sitting on my PC. Still haven’t started it, though!
Totally get where you’re coming from. I have a lot of games, including Call of Duty, that I once enjoyed but now I just can’t play due to constant interruptions like rebooting mid-match. It’s been a nightmare on PC! I ended up giving up on it and surprisingly, my life got a lot happier!
Oh, you should try turning off background Steam downloads! Go into settings—Cod always seems to default to update immediately which can mess with gameplay.
I remember the good old days when I only had 5-7 games, and I would borrow from friends. Now I have over 200 games in my library, half of which I’ve never even touched! Most of them are digital and tied to subscriptions that could disappear if I cancel, but the number is still mind-blowing. RDR2 is definitely worth it for a single-player journey, and Ark is a fun survival experience if you have friends to play with.
I feel you! I had to stop playing Tales of Arise after facing the Ganabelt boss fight. It just got too frustrating.
