Has anyone experienced problems with PlayStation support like I have? I own the Mafia Trilogy, but support only lets me download Mafia 3. They were supposed to reset my licenses, but now I don’t have access to any of the games. They claim I don’t own the games and need to buy them again. They closed the chat when I asked to escalate the issue. Should I get legal advice? Is anyone else facing something similar?

I’ve had issues with PlayStation support ignoring me too. No email for a purchase the other day, and when I asked about it, they just disconnected the chat. Seems like they’re not really respecting their paying customers. We pay for their online services, and this is what we get?
Check your purchase history. You might have bought it but assumed it was part of a PS Plus offer. I know seeing that logo can be misleading. If you’ve got separate entries for the Trilogy and Mafia 3 in your library, that’s another clue.
There was some confusion with the Mafia games; they swapped the branding but might not have updated the list properly. If it’s in your library, try looking there instead of the PSN store. Sometimes the store listings can be wonky.
If you got Mafia Trilogy through PS Premium, remember it’s like a subscription—you don’t own it permanently. Mafia 3 might stick because it was a monthly PS Essential game. Check if that’s what’s going on here.
Maybe this is a good time to rethink digital and go back to buying physical games. With digital, you’re basically renting; physical copies give you more control. It’s laid out in their terms, even if it feels unfair.
Honestly, trying to sue over this might end up costing you more than just repurchasing the games. Legal fees can add up quick, and there’s no guarantee you’d end up with what you’re after.
