Any Recommendations for Games with Recruitment and Hub Areas?

-

I’m on the lookout for games where I can recruit a bunch of characters and have a cool homebase or hideout area. I’m focusing on titles available for PlayStation or Nintendo consoles. I’ve already enjoyed games like Suikoden, Eiyuden Chronicle, Ni no Kuni 2, Dark Cloud, Digimon World, and Ys 8. Any suggestions?

Don’t forget about the Dragon Age series! They have a strong focus on character recruitment and developing your base, plus some epic storylines.

The Last Remnant is another solid choice, it has a bit of a different approach but you get a large cast that you can recruit throughout the game.

You might want to look into Disgaea too. It’s got a unique style and lots of characters to recruit, plus some fun base management features.

Have you tried Fire Emblem: Three Houses? It has a fantastic hub area where you can recruit characters. Plus, the storyline and character interactions are top-notch!

If you’re into those types of games, you might want to check out Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. It has the recruitment aspect, and you get a nice hub area to manage your team. Also, White Knight Chronicles 1 and 2 have a similar structure to Dark Cloud that you might enjoy! If you’re into RPGs, Xenoblade Chronicles and Phantasy Star Nova are also great picks.
