I’m on the hunt for some great YouTube playthroughs of Baldur’s Gate 3 since my potato can’t handle playing it myself. I want to experience the game through someone else’s eyes, but the ones I’ve tried so far were a bit boring. Here are my criteria for the perfect Let’s Play:
– It needs to be a blind playthrough; I want to avoid those who already know the game.
– No live streams, as I find a lot of time gets wasted interacting with chat.
– I’d prefer solo gameplay, not multiplayer sessions.
– I hope to find players who stay on topic while playing, sharing their thoughts and strategies, rather than chatting about other random things.
– Good audio quality is a must; I can’t deal with bad microphone sound.
Looking forward to your recommendations!

If you like a mix of entertainment and strategy, definitely give Joe Greene’s playlist a shot! His editing is top-notch, and he’s got a great way of commentating on what’s happening without straying off topic. I also appreciate that he maintains a chill vibe throughout!
For some solid blind playthroughs, I recommend Mapocolops and John Wolfe on John Twolfe. They keep things interesting and thoroughly explore the game, which makes it super fun to watch. Plus, they have good audio, so that’s a huge plus!
You should check out Neil Newbon’s playthrough; he’s the voice of Astarion and his content is mostly blind. It’s a long one, but you’ll get a lot of entertainment value out of it. Just be aware that he has some guests, but they don’t overtake the gameplay too much. Plus, he gets into character which makes it fun!
Oh, I really enjoyed Neil’s playthrough too! His commentary is spot on, and I love how he interacts with the game as Astarion.
