Hey everyone! I’m on the lookout for games that are similar to Genshin Impact. I really enjoyed the task-based gameplay and leveling up aspect, but it’s been a while since I played it—like over two years! The game has changed a lot, and I don’t want to jump back in after missing so many updates. So, I’d love to hear about games that capture that same essence without going back to Genshin. Any recommendations?

For something different, you might want to try Wayfinder. It’s an open-world RPG with no gacha elements, and there’s co-op too. If you prefer a story-driven experience with some grinding, I loved Granblue Fantasy Relink. It’s visually similar to Genshin and a lot of fun!
Honestly, there are tons of games with leveling and tasks. Gacha games can be a bit overwhelming. Have you ever tried ReFantazio? It’s a cool JRPG with loads of quests and classes to level up. Stardew Valley is also a gem, especially since it’s on mobile. You could even download an emulator and dive into classic RPGs from the SNES or PS2 era. I’d recommend steering clear of new gacha games if you’re looking for a more respectful gaming experience!
If you’re into gacha games, you might want to check out Honkai Star Rail or Wuthering Waves. They’re pretty popular right now! Just a heads up, Wuthering Waves has a combat style that’s closer to what you’d find in Genshin, so you might enjoy that.
Yeah, I found Wuthering Waves to be really engaging, especially for the combat!
Thanks for the suggestion! I haven’t played ReFantazio yet, but it sounds awesome!
