Hey everyone! I recently got called a smurf because I mentioned that I’m D3 on one account and D1 on another. I honestly play about the same amount on both accounts, and my D1 rank is really just D1 Div4 since I tend to fall to that rank but always work my way back up. Does this mean I’m actually smurfing on my D1 account?

I don’t think so! Your rank can change, and smurfing usually involves being way better than the rank you’re playing at. You sound more like someone who’s just fluctuating between ranks rather than trying to stomp on lower-ranked players.
Honestly, D1 and D2 can be tougher than D3, so it’s not weird to have a rank below your peak. Just do your best and enjoy the game!”},{
In your situation, I wouldn’t call it smurfing either. If I’m in a Plat 1 match as a Plat 3, I still make some of the same mistakes, just a bit faster or with better decision-making. You’re not drastically outclassing anyone.
