Hey folks! I’m having some trouble with my gaming performance. I thought my setup would handle epic 1080p gaming smoothly, especially with my RTX 3060. However, I can’t even maintain 60 FPS in Fortnite on normal settings. I’ve validated my build using CPU-Z, and I’m starting to wonder if there are any bottlenecks in my configuration. Any thoughts?

Do you have VSync enabled? That could be limiting your frame rates depending on your monitor’s refresh rate. With a 60Hz screen, you might be capped at 60 FPS… try turning off VSync and see if it helps. Just uncapping FPS in the game settings can also make a difference!
Definitely! Since you mentioned having only one stick of RAM, that’s a likely culprit. Dual-channel setups provide better performance. You might want to look into adding another stick if possible. Also, are you experiencing these issues in any specific games or just Fortnite?
It sounds like you might have a bottleneck in your system. Generally, every system has some limits, but it’s hard to pinpoint the issue without more details. One thing to check is your RAM configuration—if you’re only using a single stick, that’s definitely less efficient than dual channel RAM. What specific problems are you noticing in gameplay? Where are the frame drops happening?
