Hey folks, I’m looking to upgrade my small form factor PC. Currently, it’s got 8GB of RAM, an Intel i5-2400S, and no GPU. I’m considering upgrading the processor and am open to suggestions for a second-hand GPU within a budget of 5000 INR. Any advice would be great! Cheers!

If you’re set on upgrading rather than starting from scratch, maybe look into picking up a used GTX 750 Ti or an AMD equivalent. That’s about as good as you can get within your budget and it would still offer a decent performance increase for games like GTA V and older titles. Just don’t expect miracles with newer games.
I suggest sticking to upgrading the GPU first, and see how it plays with the i5-2400S. If gaming is a big thing, even a budget-friendly card like a used GTX 950 could give you a much better experience. Just keep an eye out for bargains and make sure your PSU can handle the extra load.
Honestly, with that setup, it’s gonna be tough to make worthwhile upgrades. The i5-2400S is getting pretty old, and it’s going to limit any performance gains from a new GPU. You might wanna consider saving up for a more modern setup instead of sinking cash into this one. It might cost more upfront, but it’ll be better in the long run.
I get what you’re saying, but money’s tight right now. Was hoping for a more affordable way to get a boost.
