Ground Pokemon are one of the 18 different types of Pokémon in the Pokémon franchise. These Pokémon are often based on earth, rocks, and other subterranean creatures. They are known for their strong physical attacks, high defense and immunity to Electric type moves. They are also known for their ability to use a wide range of moves that can affect the field, such as setting up hazards like spikes or toxic spikes. Ground-type Pokémon are also known for their resistance to Electric-type moves, but are weak against Water, Grass, and Ice-type moves. Ground-types are super effective against Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock and Steel types, but weak against Water, Grass and Ice types. Some well-known Ground-type Pokémon include Diglett, Sandslash, and Groudon.
