Ghost-type Pokémon are one of the 18 different types of Pokémon in the Pokémon franchise. These Pokémon are often based on ghosts, spirits, and other supernatural beings. They are known for their ability to phase through solid objects and their immunity to Normal and Fighting type moves. They are also known for their powerful special attacks, and for having high special defense and speed stats. Ghost-type Pokémon are also known for their resistance to Psychic-type moves, but are weak against Ghost- and Dark-type moves. Ghost-types are super effective against Psychic and Ghost types, but weak against Normal and Dark types. Some well-known Ghost-type Pokémon include Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar.
