Fighting-type Pokémon are one of the 18 different types of Pokémon in the Pokémon franchise. These Pokémon are often based on martial arts, combat, and physical strength. They are known for their powerful physical attacks and for having high physical defense and attack stats. Fighting-type Pokémon are also known for their ability to learn moves that target the opponent’s weaknesses, as well as their resistance to Normal-type moves. Fighting-type Pokémon are weak against Fairy-type moves. Fighting-types are super effective against Normal, Rock, Steel, Ice and Dark types, but weak against Flying, Psychic, Fairy and Bug types. Some well-known Fighting-type Pokémon include Machop, Hitmonlee, and Lucario.
