Giant jungle trees are a great way to take tree house building to the next level. Jungle trees naturally grow large in the jungle areas, but you can also grow giant jungle trees outside of a jungle if you have multiple saplings and some bone meal. A giant jungle tree house is a much cooler tree house than using a regular tree. With enough saplings and bonemeal you can build a giant jungle tree house that goes past the clouds.
If you get 4 saplings and place them in a square (2X2), then hit them with some bone meal the saplings will eventually grow into a giant jungle tree.
Once the tree has grown, you can repeat this multiple times in a close area. You want the higher branches of the tree to touch off each other giving you a larger platform to build upon. Grow at least 3 giant jungle trees in a triangle kind of shape. The more trees you have on the base, the more you can place higher up.
Sometimes the tree will not have vines all the way up. If this happens you will need to either wait for them to grow naturally, or use a sheers to cut some vines off the other side of the tree and place them all on a single side so you can climb to the top.
Once you are at the top of the tree, you will need to grow another giant jungle tree. You will need to bring up some dirt blocks in order to do this as saplings can only be placed in dirt blocks.
Start hitting these saplings with bonemeal again and they will grow into a giant tree. If you are lucky the trees will sort of blend in with each other as they grow. If they do not do this then you will need to use a sheers to harvest some jungle leaf blocks to fill in the gaps.
Keep building up as long as you want. The taller the tree, the more work you will have to put in to make it look more natural. You will need to run back often and look at the tree house from a distance in order to get a better idea of what the shape is going to look like. You want to make sure it looks natural and doesn’t have square edges.
Once you have a few trees grown that look pretty good, you can start with the construction of the house part of the giant jungle tree house. This part is by far the most difficult as its difficult to get a good perspective of what the house looks like from a distance. If you have a second player that can help out by viewing the construction from a distance it will save you a lot of trouble running up and back as you are likely going to fall a lot doing this which will waste a ton of food for nothing.
The most difficult part about building the house section is making it look like the tree has grown around the buildings which makes it look much more natural. In order to do this you are going to need to have plenty of jungle leaf blocks and some vines. If you grow these around the wooden sections of the building it will look a lot more realistic.
