I'm looking for a game where you have other NPC characters running around with you (possibly even control.)

Must:

Multiple characters, 3D

Prefer:

Sword/magic/archery, Cartoonish graphics (Portal knights, Dungeon Defenders, etc)

Any help is appreciated.
