Dragon Age: Inquisition

Dragon Age is a lot like The Elder Scrolls. Similar mythology setting with magic and monsters. You take control of multiple characters which does make things different, but they are fun games if you like Skyrim.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Witcher 3 is one of the better fantasy RPGs that have been released over the past few years. It is different to Skyrim story wise as it has quite a deep lore to it, but the game is visually similar and the gameplay is like Skyrim too. Elder Scrolls has lost its way a bit with Skyrim being a very short game for RPG standards with minimal side quests of any value. The Witcher is just jam packed with side quests that have some amazing stories.

The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

Bethesda have released quite a few games in this series. I think this is probably the best of them, but I am sure many would debate this. If this particular game isnt for you, the past 2 games are also great. The Elder Scrolls franchise deserves to be up there as one of the best fantasy RPGs on the market.

Even though its an MMO its still an RPG and an incredibly good one at that. This is a game that you could sink an incredible amount of hours into. Wasted or well spent depends on the person. It has a strong fantasy setting with a rich back story and lots of cool lore. It is a really great game to sink some time into if you are a big fan of RPGs.
