If you are just getting over your binge of Stranger Things or just want to go back in time. The 1980s was a great time period to have a video game set in. Strangely enough, it isn’t an era visited too often by any of the larger video game franchises.
Are their any good games that are set in the 1980s. I’m specifically looking for games that are sort of cheesy 1980s, kinda like how blood dragon was for Farcry rather than just being some random game that happens to be set in the 80s. I want neon lights, cassette tapes and terrible hair.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
I think Vice City is the ultimate 80s game. It has ye style, the sounds and the neon lights. It's a but dated now but in terms of jumping into the cheesy Miami vice scene of the 1980s, this game did a pretty amazing job.u00a0
Hotline Miami
Might not be everyone'su00a0type of game, but it is set in the thick of the 80s where you are a cop. It has an 8-bit visual style, but it still has a strong 80s vibe to it.u00a0
