The Red Door – Pantry Step-By-Step Guide
Start with the Exit Door Area
- Go to the area on the right of the exit door.
- Investigate the machine with a red trim and the four Post-it notes displaying dates.
- Open the machine’s drawer and look inside to find something there.
- Check the drawer again to get a metal piece and the warm drawer itself.
Explore the Ice Machine Corner
- Move towards the ice machine in the corner.
- Zoom in to see a table and take the beaker and button piece from it.
- Combine the button piece from the table with the button piece from the drawer to create the button.
- Use the button on the bottom right corner of the ice machine and press it to unlock the lid.
Solve the Ice Machine Puzzle
- Examine the ice machine lid and play the sliding block minigame.
- To solve the puzzle, move as follows: right, down, left (a block freezes), down, right, down (a block freezes), left, right, down, left, and down.
- On successful completion, an ice cube drops into the machine.
- Retrieve the ice cube and combine it with the warm drawer.
Obtain the Visitor ID
- Place the drawer on the red trim machine.
- Open the drawer after the ice cube melts and obtain the visitor ID.
- Use the ID card on the slot below the monitor to turn it on, but it will display an error and requires water and food.
- Collect the four empty water containers from the bottom.
Test and Collect Water
- Examine the 366 drawers containing food for every day of the year including the leap year day.
- Zoom in on the cabinet between the two shelves and open it to find a nutrition management chart and a nutritional balance chart, which will be added to the archive.
- Unlock the wheels of the moveable cabinet and access the pH detection chemical and a chart with pH detection information.
- Approach the water machine between the two doors and use the chemical and beaker to test the different waters.
- Fill the containers with appropriate water and place them back in the red trim machine.
Obtain and Manage the Food
- Examine the food machine on the wall next to the entrance door and take note of the calendar.
- Use the calendar information to match the following dates based on the Post-it notes: 1/13, 3/27, 5/7, 7/30, and 11/11.
- Retrieve the food for all five dates and their respective boxes.
- Place the boxes into the red trim machine.
Solve the Ration Puzzle and Exit
- Investigate the red trim machine screen to initiate a puzzle where you have to sort rations based on the two nutritional charts found in the archive.
- Solve this puzzle to obtain the escape password.
- Use the escape password on the safe in the room to get the exit key, which can be used on the lock by the exit door to leave the Pantry.
Obtain the Secret Files
- Pay attention to the note on the back of the calendars, mentioning the day Sigma was kidnapped, which is Christmas or 12/25.
- 12/25 corresponds to 101112, B, and 13 on the calendar machine.
- Enter the information and collect the password for the secret files.
